Even though there are many contrast calculators, I always [Lea
Verou's](https://github.com/LeaVerou/contrast-ratio) version best. It is the
only one I am aware of that supports transparency.

Unfortunately that contrast checker now redirects to some SEO agency. So this
is a replacement.
